LUCCA LODGE
Lucca Lodge is nestled deep in the Limpopo valley on a ridge overlooking a seasonal flood plain. The reserve is over 12,000 hectares (30,000 acres) in extent and is home to most of the big 5 as well as the iconic cheetah and wild dog. Mapungubwe National Park & UNESCO World Heritage site is a short 9km drive from gate to gate.
The lodge can sleep a total of 16 guests in 8 unique chalets including a family unit which has an interconnecting door. Each room has a television as well as coffee making facilities. All rooms are perched on the edge of the ridge overlooking the stunning mopane bushveld and amazing morning views of Dongola hill on the horizon. All rooms have air-conditioning as well as warm and cold water.
For those wishing to self-cater there is a well-appointed kitchen available with everything you need to make your own scrumptious meals or hire our butler service to cook for you for the duration of your stay.
Take time to relax in the lounge and listen to some music or head over to the deck for an authentic South African braai or a quick dip in the splash pool. A well-stocked honesty bar is available on-site for guests to enjoy local beers and wines as well as soft drinks and juices.
